possible to cut a sandwich with a plane
stroke so as to halve the bread, the butter,
and the ham.
                         We can, however, do
the same thing differently in two steps: first

tangentially: he walks along a line touching
the edge without cutting
we obtain a map that represents
circles on the globe as circles and pre-
serves angles
                         if the forgoing holds
with ‘right’ replaced by ‘left,’ and yellow if
it is neither red nor green.
